Any alternatives to hose clamps for trans cooler?
The lines aren't blowing off the transmission cooler but they are getting loose enough to let fluid leak out. Anyone have a suggestion on an alternative to hose clamps to use on my trans cooler to keep the lines tight.

That's probably just the rubber taking a set.
You could use some of those clamps that are
basically springs (1-1/2 turn) and these
would apply constant radial pressure, unlike
band clamps that are just staying where you
left 'em and end up with less pressure as
the hose shrinks or spreads.
Or you could tighten 'em one more time and
see if the rubber's done compressing yet.

I'm using all -6an lines and fittings on my trans cooler. It's a TCI Racing cooler from Jegs and has AN fittings built in to it. It's a bit costly for the lines and fittings but it was worth it to me and it looks nicer than rubber.
