Fitting a 4L60e to LSx - Help!

Fitting a 4L60e to LSx - Help! Hey Everyone.
Im knee deep in an LS swap into my 89 iroc. I had plans to keep the 700-R4, but it seems its more trouble then its worth.
Im thinking its in my best interest to just pickup a 4L60e. My local yard has:
4L60e from a '97 K1500 2WD pickup
4L60e from a '99 V6 Astro van
The astro van has a removable bellhousing, truck one doesnt. What is needed to be changed between these to make them work behind my LSx motor?

The 98 up must be from and LSX based aplication, The 99 from the 4.3 will not bolt diectly to the LSX block you would at the very least need a converter pilot adapter like the ones used to install a th350 or 400 to and lsx block.
Your best bet is just to find and LSX based 60e, 98 up camaro/firebird and trucks with the 5.3 and 6.0 engines

Does this mean the output shaft is the same?
Say i were to get a pilot adaptor & an LS1 bellhousing, will this solve my problem?

The tail shaft for a 2wd is the same , the tail housing may be different , And no the LS1 bellhousing you use the lt1 housing and the converter pilot spacer.
