Which stall, 150 shot?

You have the age old dilema of the dual purpose converter. Tight for big power and modest extension or loose for NA (helps pull upper rpm with big extension).
The deal with the SS4000 is that when you hit somewhere in the 550+ rwhp (shift points 7000 rpm and less), the extension gets to high and you blow thru the verter. So, you have to take peoples combos into account when they tell you X combo works on my car. Rpm shift point is huge....A guy shifting his stock Ls1 at 6000 rpm will blow through that verter pretty fast even with a small shot of juice. Compared to a guy shooting a 200 shot on a cammed combo shifting at 6800. "Black X" has really good luck with this combo, and is probably making 525 at the wheels in his S10 truck.
A really good compremise converter is a VIG 3200 triple disk....Great flash "NA" but tighter like a SS3600 up top. Then you can lock it for 3rd gear if needed. You will loose about a 1 tenth "NA" due to lack of extension but atleast it will flash good....
The SS3600 is tight all around and you'll give up at least 2 tenths "NA" to a SS4000 due to slower 60y's and minimum extension. But, you can shoot big shoot of juice through it...
Just don't lock it at WOT!!!!Looks like I might be going the SS4000 route to get the best NA times while being able to shoot a 150 shot through the engine. My stroker makes 460 (LT1) at the rear so, if I add another 120 rwhp (150 shot) I'll be pushing that number pretty close...Luckily I can shift at 7 k rpm no problem but I expect some blow through.
