I have a 02 SS with a built A4 Vig 3600 verter(customer car)After doing a bunch of work I took it for a spin.About 2 miles away I see smoke out the back of the car.Pulled right over and shut the car off.Noticed tranny fluid all over the ground which was caused by a line blew off a straight metal connector(Customer work )Hooked back up the line and put 6 quarts in it and limped it home.At my house I put in 3 more quarts(dip stick sucks to read)and took it out for a ride.
Now first gear grabs good, seconds stalls to 3000 at part throttle and has a lazy shift to 3rd.When you manual shift it the gears slam and lock real good Like it was doing before the line
It did have a engine light caused by a pressure solinoid that I cleared but haven't driven since.
Any ideas? I don't think the tranny is gone.

Hey Slowhawk, Hang a gage on it, see if your line rise is immediate, and responsive. If not, pull the valve body, replace the EPC screen, while your there drill(.060 X 2) through the bottom of the screen to prevent this in the future.Debris plugging the EPC screen or maybe the EPC selinoid needs relaceing, I change them both when symptoms like youve expressed happen.I hope this helps.
