I just called TCI about there new SFI flexplate for LS1's. The Tech I talked to on the phone, said 4 days to 2 weeks... Whats up? Has anybody else talked to TCI about the flexplate? What have you guys heard? What is the cost going to be any ideas?

I talked to them. The part number is now in the system. It's instantly on backorder and you cannot place new orders because they don't have a price in there yet. I called Summit to see if they could do anything, to which they said that the purchasing agents still indicated that the flexplate was still out for R&D and to check back in a month.

WTF!!

 

I have the sfi flexplates for the LS1s. I just got an order in and we are putting one on Pains car. They retail for $280.00

 

What is the weight difference between the stock flexplate and aftermarket one?

 

We finally have the LS1 flexplates in production. I got the first one off of the machine this morning. They've yet to be coated and boxed, but they are finally in production. We entered the cost into the system this morning. The cost straight from us is $210.

Who is "us"? Is this another product or the same as what Madman is selling?

Any pics or website? What about wt savings compared to stock?

Yeah, what date. My car is going on the lift within a few days, and I would like to use the upgraded flexplate instead of installing the stocker.
I could use one ASAP.

 

They're finally done/packaged/on the shelf. Ryan, Your's should have be shipped already...I'll double check in the morning.
