'LOOSE with High Stall'
I may be way off but that't what I think it is.
Higher stall means higher RPMs to get the car moving. You'll get a better answer from the guys who use converters. I drive a M6 so I'm not familiar with all the details.
Planning to get a Street Fighter 3200 (YANK)
I see you have 3.73s, those and a 3200 stall will be just fine!
also, each converter has a rated STR ( stall torque ratio )
the higher the STR the harder the car will hit from a stop.
If I wanted to get a 3500 stall and my car only had 3.23s..I would try and get a converter with a higher STR to make the car feel less sluggish off the line, or less "loose"
Hope this all makes sense!
