Question tired of the th350

I'm getting a little board with the th350 I have in my 408 car so I've been tossing around the idea of building a nice 4l60e to put back in it. what's it gonna take to make this thing hold up for a while?

just for the record this is a 9sec car on spray.

Thanks in advance.......

Im guessing you tired of no OD, or no Lock-up. Ever think about a 6spd swap.

I think its probably because of OD and lockup , Its not that its so much more fun as you can afford to do it more We actually get alot of orders from people wanting to switch back

I'm switching out the TH350 in mine also, just cant make up my mind on the 6-speed or 4l60e. I put in a layaway order a few months ago but havent made up my mind yet.

I've thought about a gear vendors unit - I'd have to ride in a car with it to see what it's like - wonder what a gear vendors unit behind a 6-speed would be like!!! lol

I've got a million things running through my head about the whole car. Cant make up my mind if i want a street friendly car, a drag car, a road course car, or what! I dunno - I think I just need to figure that out then go the right way!

If you want to, PM me and I can put you in contact with them and you can chat with them over the phone or via PM. I know they are both a member of this site, but I am not sure how often they come on here. I do have a project 4l60e sitting here that would be perfect for tearing into and building. Good-luck to ya

Ditto that!

I had two built 60E's that I might as well lit a match to the $$ i put in them. My TH400 rocks, way funner than the 60E was and doesn't have that laggy 2-3 shift. I like the GV idea though, crossed my mind a couple times to, that and a paddle/button shifter would rock . Maybe look into the 65e if your wanting OD/lockup back if your DD car.
