how much will 4.10's help my A4?

With 4.10's and 4L60E, I turn like 3000 rpms at 80mph on the highway, it's not bad at all. It will tighten up a loose stall nicely too.
I think you need to adjust shift points as well as do more gear to figure out your combo.
I have an art carr 3200 as of right now..and spraying off the line i cut mid 1.4's in the 60'..it shift's at the stock shift point's because I havent messed with the point's yet..but with the converter and on the n20 it shift's right at 6400 or 6300..how bad is it to shift into OD on the track?..I have been shifting into OD right around the 1,000 ft. mark then the car feel's like it's bogging..should I run a taller tire or is it normal to shift into OD at the end...it seems to do it right at 123 or 124 mph..whoa wouldnt I have to run like a 30" tire if I went with 4.10's to prevent it from shifting?..or is natural to finish the 1/4 in OD?
Right now with stock shift points 4.10's would make it worse... I would only do 4.10's if you shift at 6500 NA.
OD is not efficient for any passes but it's your call.
The loss of that much mph nakes me wonder if you have other issues such as tuning, not enough converter, etc. Raising your shift points will definitely get you some MPH but you should be 3 -5 mph higher than before and you will not get that huge difference from shift points unless you have a super high peaking cam with no bottom end.
How do your 60' compare before and after?
