I would recommend a 9 1/2" converter that stalled between 2,800 and 3,400 for a mild combination. It would preserve driveability while letting that cam work on the hit. A higher stalling unit can become annoying in time, especially with the 3 speed transmission.

Are you running a power adder?

We have a very strong line of Street / Strip Converters that are manufactured locally by drag racers.

I could provide you the unit you are looking for easily.

Give me a call and I'll provide you with the details!

There is no "best". Building a nice, solid, bulletproof converter for a 3 speed transmission is not rocket science. Nobody here is going to be able to tell you whos unit to buy. They can only speak to their experience with the ones they have been around or owned.

I would recommend that you speak to some of the manufacturers you mentioned about your build and then go from there.

Good Luck with it!

I prefer the Circle D brand, but I am a little biased. Need more info to select a converter. Do you plan on any track events?? Future plans, big power adder???

We custom build our converters per application, so no part number just yet.

Give me a call - 713-895-8834
