Need Help Choosing A Stall Speed
Next for me is a Vigilante converter. I was originally going to get a 2800 but now I'm thinking that might not be high enough since everyone seems to
be running 3000+. What's everyones thoughts on a 3200 and then eventually using the freebee to raise the stall speed to 3600? I want to make sure I'm happy. I want it done right the first time! Any feedback?
Thanks!

with 3.73s, a 3200 will not be too loose and will pack plenty of punch. Check in the Canadian forum and see if you can test drive a car with a stall. The primary advantage to the 2800 will be less noise. You really hear the exhaust with a high stall.
Thanks for the feedback. Trust me when I say I don't need to hear my exhaust more so. I hear it plenty enough as it is.

Even if you are going to buy a different brand, you might give Derek a call at TCS. He can answer all your convertor questions. He is a great guy and was a tremendous help to me.

i have that set up . i am going to change my 2800 to a 3600 , (though 3200 sounds good too) ,, as soon as i get the tranny out , next time . the nice thing about the vigalante is they will change your stall speed once for free , i barely notice i have a stall in unless i power brake , and sometimes it locks up during deceleration , feels like an manual then <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Today I decided to call Precision Industries technical department to see what they would suggest I
get. Based on my mods and my future plans, they said
to go with the Vigilante 3200 and if need be, within 2 years use my free upgrade to go with a 3600 - just as I thought. Just though I would let you all know!
Thanks!
