4l60e problem HELPPPP ok i have a 94 formula lt1-4l60e and the tranny fluid is burnt and just wondering if burnt tranny fluid and 20k plus miles without a transmission service would keep my tranny from going 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th easily?

doesnt shift "easily", what does that mean? Has the problem come on slowly
or did it happen suddenly?
You are saying it shifts at really high rpm but does do all the gears? does your speedo work ?

Mine acts kinda funny like that it will hold the gear rather long then shift, last week when I put a 100 shot on my car it wouldnt make a 2-3 shift unless I let out, so I drove to the part store and put a B&M electronic shift controler on it and that solved the problem shifting while spraying but Im sure it just a bandaid.
