torque convter bolts

I have a grasp, but when the converter is installed it's spun through 2 grooves to fully be seated. ive seen where the converter has to be spun the opposite way to slide off. maybe that was a different instance.

Get a oxy-acetiline torch and heat up heads of bolts red. Then they come right out.

mine slid out the minute the trans tilted forward on the jack. sorry i didn't have to unspin it.

the proper way to do it is to remove the bolts first...

the bolts are torks anyways they arent alan's so thats a lot of the problem and if you already stripped them just weld a standard bolt to them and it will bull them right out

or you can go to town on it with an angle grinder and grind them off... i did that after i heated them up. got a good notch in them and they went after them with the air chisel... worked like a charm
