Default Synthetic ATF

Ok Guys, I am getting close to being able to fill the trans with fluid, I have installed a Yank SS3200 in it and will also be doing a new trans filter before I add my ATF. The trans has 28K on it. Yank does not recomend Synthetic ATF, what are your thoughts and what do you guys run in these transmissions for ATF. I use synthetic oil but have never used Synthetic ATF.

I have always used Valvoline MaxLife ATF in my cars, shifts great and I never had any problems at all.

This is what is stated to use on there Tourque Converters. I went to may places around town, no one has just plain Dextron IV, and out of all of these place 2 had it in Synthetic only, everything else was one size fits all BS.

i just got my trans rebuilt and i am running mobil one syn. trans fluid with the ss3600. Just last weekend my car started not shifting into third at the end of the track under wide open throttle only and is fine on the street though. Could the syn. trans fluid cause this you think. My trans guy put the syn. fluid in the car.
