Well seeing as a quality converter will help cut the et as much as the cam, I would say yes. A Vig. 3200 or Yank 3600 come to mind.

yes, you will be able to drive it and it will run just fine. i am running a very similar cam with the stock stall. it runs very well. if you are not into racing, i dont' think i would change the stall. then again, if you are not into racing, i wouldn't change the cam. the only reason i see (if you do not care about racing at all) to get a stall would be so the car doesn't want to push through the brakes when you come to a stop. the car will push a little harder after you raise the idle to accomodate the cam.

Thanks man this is the exact answer i was looking for. This is my girlfriend car and she really doesn't care to "race". She just likes how a cam car sounds!! Plus it will give her a little more power. I just dont want the car to push through the breaks so bad that it makes it uncomfortable for her to drive.

well just see how it is and go from there. it doesn't push too hard in my mind but it is a difference that i can definatly feel. i can live with that, but i like to race too.....so, i am getting a stall. lol

If she wants lope and stay with the stock stall, go with a 220/224 114. You'll get more power, lope hard enough at 650 rpm idle, and not push through as much.
