Default Which Converter???

I'm not sure if this is suppose to be internal or external but newayz... I have an A4 i've heard wonders about the vigilante converter is that the best there is out there for our cars... or does sumbody know of a better one??? Thanx in advance

There is no 'best', just depends on what you want.
You can spend under $500 or over $900, depending on the converter.
I'd recommend a Vigilante, Yank, Midwest, TCI, TCS, and several others; all have good points and will get the job done.

I would recomend a Yank SS converter. Ask anyone who owns one. You get the best of efficiency and STR all in one packege. They are also amazingly light 28-29 LBS! Less ratational mass=more power.

Down side is that you might have to wait as long as some of here did.

I would have to say the Vigilante. It is cheaper than the yank, and it took 5 tenths off my e.t.

I have a Yank SS3600. I would buy it again.
Drives just like my old Yank ST3000. Until you mash it.
Simply outstanding drivability for a 3600 stall with 3.23s for gears.
Big gain in performance over the 3000 stall it replaced.

Wish I were out driving it instead of sitting here........

Vig 3600 in my car and loving every drive i take.Going to track very soon,almost opening day.Will see how much time i can shave with it.

I've got a Midwest 3600 and love every bit of it,I bought it from a friend for $300 and he sent it off and got it restalled for me it was a 3000 before and he dropped .5 tenths.IMO bang for the buck!!!
