Default Yank SS3600 qtr mile improvement

Yank SS3600 dropped my quarter mile E/T .562 seconds. Density altitude about the same as last time I ran, same weight 3626 lbs, no other changes. Dropped from 12.59 to 12.03. Only got 3 runs in so I am still playing with getting the best 60'. 1.762 on 17" Nitto's. Track was hooking good for me. 60' with stock converter was 2.026.

Les
T1 cam, FLP headers through the cats, cutout, Corsa exhaust, pulley, Lid, Bauer ported throttle body, LS1 edit tuning.

Congrats dude. I am looking at one of these converters for my car. How much did this converter set ya back $$$ wise? I haven't seen any prices on them.

$895 for the converter plus a cooler and labor. Labor varies a lot from place to place.

Let me rephrase that. The converter was $895. Then the cooler and labor was extra on top of that.

That's great, Les. Did you have LS-1 Edit before the converter install? Best wishes. Congrats on the improvment. Stuff like this helps justify the wait time I had for mine.

i think a SS3800 is in my future fellas. I found one at a pretty decent price and I beleive it should work good for my combo. I'm gunna give yank and discuss it with them.

Great times! can you give us a break down of your run? I would like to compare to my 1/8 mile times. All I have is 1/8 mile to go by.
Thanks
