Default i really need some suggestions before i torch it!!

My tranny is "stack shifting" meaning its reaching OD by 25-30mph on just a light throttle. Ok, i have put 3 different trannies in here and they all do the same. one was a stock one and it burned up the 3-4 cluthces just driving around the tranny shops parking lot. So i have pretty much ruled out that its the tranny.

What else could cause this? i will take ANY suggestions. I have had 2 diff TC in it and has done it with both. (a pro-torque 2800 and a tci ssf3500 now)

can somebody give me some kinda clue before this ends up in a big black pile of burnt goo in my drive way?? PLEASE???

Have you done anything PCM wise? GMAF+cam+Intake and you could be off in tuning causing the wrong line pressure.

Ragtop,
I have the stock maf back on. the program is stock aside from idle and gear ratio. but it did this when it was tuned also. ever since the cam, verter was installed and the tranny was rebuilt the first time. starting to wonder if for some absolute freak of nature reason, the cam has something to do with it.

You need to put a scanner on and look at the data stream. See what the computor is doing

Has the same person built the tranny every time? If you are burinig them up that quickly then I would have to say that you have a blockage inside the tranny not allowing fluid to get through. May seem silly but fire it up and pull one of the tranny lines to see if your fluid is even flowing through the cooler. Hope you get it lined out.

I am sitting here thinking of all it might be and still think it has to be a flow issue.

Highly doubt all three shops would set the pack up to tight.

Doubt that you had two bad TC's in a row

Do you know if they replaced the Electrical components inside tha tranny when they rebuilt it or re-used the old ones?

Before this started up, did you have any problems with your speedo? Inaccurate readings? The reason I ask is because we all know our cars are shifted electronically. Vehicle speed, engine speed, both contribute to how much line pressure the tranny is applying. If your spped sensor is unhooked then it will throw everything out of whack. Nifty little plan that gm threw in there to keep people from unhooking speedos. I waould really like to help you find a solution to your problem here and one thing you may want to consider is going to a vacuum modulated valve body, that way you dont have to worry if the computer is telling the tranny the right info.
If you wanna shoot me a pm or something maybe I can help ya figure it out. Best of luck.
Mike

i kept burning up my 3rd clutch setup, 4 times, of course i was using the same shop and finally went to joe at jagperformance.com , he's awesome, it seems you're supposed to clean out the tranny cooler to get all the krud out, doh, the electronics and valvebody is very picky, and just a little material will clog things up and break stuff.

now my trans is badass and has been holding up for a almost a year,
just a thought,

allen
