i really need some suggestions before i torch it!!
What else could cause this? i will take ANY suggestions. I have had 2 diff TC in it and has done it with both. (a pro-torque 2800 and a tci ssf3500 now)
can somebody give me some kinda clue before this ends up in a big black pile of burnt goo in my drive way?? PLEASE???

I have the stock maf back on. the program is stock aside from idle and gear ratio. but it did this when it was tuned also. ever since the cam, verter was installed and the tranny was rebuilt the first time. starting to wonder if for some absolute freak of nature reason, the cam has something to do with it.

Highly doubt all three shops would set the pack up to tight.
Doubt that you had two bad TC's in a row
Do you know if they replaced the Electrical components inside tha tranny when they rebuilt it or re-used the old ones?
Before this started up, did you have any problems with your speedo? Inaccurate readings? The reason I ask is because we all know our cars are shifted electronically. Vehicle speed, engine speed, both contribute to how much line pressure the tranny is applying. If your spped sensor is unhooked then it will throw everything out of whack. Nifty little plan that gm threw in there to keep people from unhooking speedos. I waould really like to help you find a solution to your problem here and one thing you may want to consider is going to a vacuum modulated valve body, that way you dont have to worry if the computer is telling the tranny the right info.
If you wanna shoot me a pm or something maybe I can help ya figure it out. Best of luck.

well, i took another ecm to the dealer and it seems to have fixed the problem. somehow it was bad. hoping if it was bad that it was also causing my 130-150 miles per tank mileage
