Default 95 3.4 camaro a4 tranny... same as all other 4l60e

My girlfriends v6 camaro tranny may be taking a ****, its starting to shift hard... im going to swap out th efilter and flush the fluid, but if it doesnt fix it they have a pick your part (pull your own parts) shop having 50% off so I can get a a4 tranny complete for like 60 bucks, are all fbody automatic transmission the same, or is there wiring differences etc? thanks!

No the 3.4 V6 4L60E is unique to that engine and must come from a 95 only car in your case

damn, no other 93-97 automatic tranny would fit it ?

when I goto the yard where does it say what year the car is? I mean some yards have it painted on and some dont... know any key things to look at that make a 95 different than the other years?

if I just drop the tranny what would a rebuild cost on it ?

$100-250 for the kit for a basic (not modified to handle tons of power)

I got tired of paying Art Carr to rebuild my tranny, so I bought an extra 700R4 for my 383 ci IROC, which was my daily driver (60k+ miles /yr). When I had the time, I rebuild the extra tranny then when I needed to, it was a quick swap, avoiding unnecessary down time.

unfortunatly 95 is a unique year and thats a pretty rare trans we only get them from time to time and we make sure we buy them when we do.
