Recommended Transmission shop
Can anyone recommend a Good honest transmission shop in houston for my 00 T/A A4 tranmission. Ive been taking it AAMCO and everytime i take it there when i leave something else goes wrong with it. This last time they said that neck on my Yank 3200 stall was messed up causing it to leak trans fluid after they replaced all the seals. All i want is a good transmission shop that can fix it without having to go back every other day spending more money.

Look up rpm transmissions online. They are a bit pricey but way worth it though. I used to burn up my tranny all the time but this trans has taken everything and anything i can throw at it. They have all kinds of applications if you dont want to spend as much as i did. I bought the stage 5 which is approx about 3k but they have lower stages too. Their trannies are BAD ***!!!

If you do not want a trans shipped to you........ obviously you looking for a shop to work on your ride. I would recommend either ACE or CircleD. I have had a few PM's with Chris from Circle D (located in Houston) and seemed to be a good guy. I know the guy's at ACE are stand up guy's. Actually met Gil for the first time this weekend at US 131 in Martins Michigan and talk with his head builder John every now and then. These are good people. Call them and talk over your situation. From there I'm sure you will feel comfortable taking it to either shop. As for RPM I know those boy's as well, talk to Rodney today in fact. Good guy's! But I think you were looking for a shop close to you. Good luck to you and I hope you get things sorted out. Vince
