Default What bad *** convertor for a T-400 NA application?

Just thinking that I might want to run NA until I decide what I want to do with the car.

I currently have a T-400 that has been in there at least 3 years, with a Neil Chance convertor, spec for a nitrous application, however I still managed a 1.41 60.

I would want something that would drop a few 10ths from my current et & get me close to the 9's.

check with chris at circle d converters. I have heard nothing but good things about the converters, and have one of my own on order.

Default Keep the converter,But

Bring the trans to me. We can rollerize the output shaft, between the planets, forward clutch hub, and pump and see if we can reduce some drag.

What are your current time slips like in N/A form?

Mike.

Did you talk with Niel Chance? Maybe they can up the stall speed a bit.

The trans was built by Hutch Trans, in London Ont, & I'm sure all of that was done. But might need a refresh on the trans without going through all the border hastles. Where are you located? PM me a # @ maybe we can do something in the future.

NA track times are 10.43@129, (1.48)

I've been meaning to get ahold of Neil & see if he can do anything to the current convertor, without compromising NA performance, since this was originally a nitrous built convertor.

Another vote for ATI 8" converter. Right around a 5500 stall.
