shift kit?
I am going to put a stall in my 01 z28 and was wondering if I should put a shift kit in it? Also which would be better a B&M or a transgo shift kit? Any help is appreciated.
well id say yes..i put a stall in and built my tranny, and the only thing i didnt do is put a shiftkit in and i really regret not doing it now..as of brands i have no clue.

i went with b&m. very simple install besides an oil pan issue i had. 1-2 shift point is obviously firmer. 2-3 as well, but not so much 3-4. you can definitely sense a difference
and as for stall... i havent picked one up yet but ive talked to many people and done a lot of research. many people will tell you to pick a little bit higher than what you think would be perfect. you cant go wrong.

As far as shift kit, we use the Trans-G0 as well. Very nice kit.
