Default shift kit?

I am going to put a stall in my 01 z28 and was wondering if I should put a shift kit in it? Also which would be better a B&M or a transgo shift kit? Any help is appreciated.

Transgo makes a nicely balanced kit, just don't deviate from their settings when modding the hole sizes.

i went with b&m. very simple install besides an oil pan issue i had. 1-2 shift point is obviously firmer. 2-3 as well, but not so much 3-4. you can definitely sense a difference

and as for stall... i havent picked one up yet but ive talked to many people and done a lot of research. many people will tell you to pick a little bit higher than what you think would be perfect. you cant go wrong.

I wouldn't go lower than a 3600 stall....even if it's a daily driver...

MY friend has a Yank ss4000 and I feel it is very easy to drive. Some may say it's a bit much but I feel it is a very streetable converter

I would recommend our "4C" stall - rated at 3600-3800. It will really wake the car up, perfect for the CAM. It will even love a shot of nitrous.

As far as shift kit, we use the Trans-G0 as well. Very nice kit.

I have a 3500 and wish i wouldve went a little higher..but I love my 3500 and it has gotten me great results..had the TCI converter almost 2 years with lots of track visits and street races and it has performed great

The Yank seems to be the most popular choice though
