problem with trans !
If no fluid at all is going to the cooler, don't run the car any more at all... its time to tear the trans apart.
The pump has to pick up fluid from the pan (sump), pressure up the torque converter and valve body.
Torque converter outlet fluid goes straight to the cooler the back to sump.
Excess valve body fluid dumps to sump.
The cold sump oil level will normally read 1" - 1 1/4" above the high hot level (STABALIZED COLD FLUID LEVEL ENG OFF) ... If the fluid level goes down with engine running *Your Pumping Fluid*
Like Magnus Say's: With enough fluid in the sump to pick up, a cooler line off and the engine running SLOW for just a FEW SECS!! ... Oil flow indicates *Your Pumping Fluid*
If this gets you going, Great. If you're not pumping fluid, well think back over your install and form a prognosis.
