Default 4l60-e Trouble shooting * pump?? *

Well not sure what could be the main reason, but a guy i know put the tranny in his car and he said when he first started the car on stands the wheels moved. He put the car down ready to drive and the car does nothing but rev??

The tranny was full of fluid, would that mean the pump is bad?

Unhook a cooler line and start car if fluid does not spray then yes the pump is bad likely broken during trans installation from converter not being fully seated

well you see the two slots in the converter well there are two tangs in the pump that they set on when the converter is not fully inserted its breaks them off. It should be pretty obvious when you look. If not take a couple pictures of the front of the pump and the converter snout and send or post them and we should be able to tell you.

Well the pump rotor assembly seems fine, Its hard to tell though but from the last picture of the PR valve it may not be seated against the wall . But I am not sure if it isnt its close.

Fluid looks pretty bad though. There may be some internal issues clutches etc from the looks of the fluid

Well I see no reason in those pictures why that pump would not pump , I would check that the cooler lines are not blocked does not make sense
