Default shift points @6500/rev limiter 7500

Being an auto trans will it hurt anything setting the rev limiter at 7500. Im set to shift at 6500. If my cam peaks at say 6500-6700rpm. I do have all arp hardware and dual valve springs ,etc.
My tuner said no problem with my 3400 stall. we just deleted all the abuse mode on the tranny, engine and adjusted the shift mph at the same time.

After reading and talking to a few guys Im going to lower it to 7000. Keep my shift points at 6500 because my cam peaks out at around 6300rpm. The tranny is the only thing still stock on my car with 28,000 miles and about 20 passes.

Hope this is not a real stupid question but with an auto tranny how and why would your car hit the limiter if say your shift points are at 6500rpm,your cam makes peak hp at 6300 and the limiter is set at 7000. Maybe a slipping tranny making it over rev at gear change ? I hit my limiter at 6800 last week in 3 and 4 th gear. Torque and engine abuse mode was not deleted at the time it was hitting . We deleted both and bumped up the line pressure to 96psi. I also lowered the 1-2nd mph to 40 it was 44 and made 3-4th 84mph if my memory serves me right. Would the torque management and engine abusemode cause the limiter to hit also ?

My tuner said I should feel the tranny shifting firmer and quicker now since we deleted the torque and engine abuse mode and moved the line pressure to 96. Maybe this will help take some slack out of the shifting. I never noticed any slack though but never really paid much attension to it because it seemed to shift ok. I made a 12.22 pass @112 with a 1.79 60 ft. a few weeks ago . I made 10 passes and that was one of my first passes the when the limiter was not hitting but the more passes I made the worse the limiter was hitting in the higher gears. I just floored it yesterday from 20-100 and it shifted fine thru all gears no limiter hitting.
