Default Flexplate n Starter

Where installing a 6.0/LS2 with a 4L80 in 98 TA..tryin to find out which SFI flexplate and starter to use?

Same starter. I think the same flex plate can be used on just about all LSX motors, it's the converter that will be special for the 4l80.

SFI: ATI, Hughes, Meziere (Very nice and expensive ~$500)

non SFI: The latest offering from GM is what I'm using. No visible welds, it looks like it's all one piece. I can get you a part # if you're interested.

Ok cool, I was lookin at tha TCI 399754 http://www.compperformancegroupstore...ct_Code=399754
tha conv is for a 4L80 tha,engine is a LS2/6.0 and tha starter is for a LS1.....does that matters.

Hmmm, you might need an LS2 GTO starter....anyone know for sure?
