Im going elec. and 89 to present the 98 up models are best and of course it will need to be 2wd. You will need a dipstick, new slip yoke, converter, adapter harness, tranny crossmember and tune.

The truck and van kind of cars are the ones you're looking for as donors...look for 2 wheel drive trucks or vans like with 6.0 liter (LQ4) engines...such as 2500HD's. Silverado SS is a 60E I think...so ignore that one, just look for regular old work trucks with the 6.0...they're everywhere.

There are many choices for converters, controllers ETC. TCI and fast buy from PCS. There is quite a bit of information out there to make this all work.
