Default Average Cost for a restall

I'm gonna be getting a 2500 stall from a buddy of mine soon and I was wondering what it would cost to have it restalled to around 3-3200....I know YANK charges about 225 to cut one open and clean/check it but how much extra would the restall be??

I believe yank charges 250 to re-stall a converter. That is what I was quoted at.

And you will be VERY pleased with the results! Only takes them 1-2 days turnaround also. We use nothing but FTI now.

Thanks for the replys guys, as for more info on the stall, we're not sure what brand it is since it was in her car when she bought it. However I would like to have it restalled from a a 2500 to around a 3200....also is it possible to make the stall a lockup?...and if so would you recommend it with that size stall and 3.73 gears?

Take a picture of it so we can see diameter and model. From there I can tell you what is possible and approximately how much.

Most 2500 converters are 12" and can not be re-stalled to 3200.

I can tell from the pic if it is probably a lock-up as well.

About 2500.

Is it an LS1 car with a 4L60E?

I sell an 11" 3200 for LS1 cars. It is $350, no core, no shipping, with a warranty. Food for thought.
