I have tried to email them for a adapter harness for the 4l60 to 4l80 swap a few times and nothing. I do not get out in time to call them on the phone and it is not listed on the website. how did you guys get yours? Do you have a part number?

While your here i have got two different awnsers from good reliable shops on the slip yoke. My tailshaft is aplined all the way up. Which yoke do i need?

I ended up ordering mine via phone, since it isn't listed on the website. My receipt didn't list a part number.

I ended up going with the Summit one with the 1350 yoke. I just got it in the mail yesterday. I'll let you know how it worked out after I install it if you're interested. My tailshaft was splined all the way as well. I got a napa part number for the conversion u-joint : 240-0447 . I am going to napa today to confirm this is the correct one.

 

I had read that but no one has ever stated what one they got via part number on the yoke. Let me know if it works and i will follow your lead.

Your comment about Speartech not having phone number listed in website puzzled me, so I clicked on Speartech ad banner here to see if it was.

Being on dial-up website takes a while to load, but once it came up, did a quick scan of options listed and decided that "CONTACT" Speartech was a good place to start. Seems it was as number was listed there as well as email address.

By the way, I have found it may take 1-3 days for email reply from John, but always replied to my inquires. Contacting him by phone can be a challenge too. After making a trip by his shop to leave GM shifter I needed him to make wire harness to support TU/TD of 6L80E trans I can see why that's a challenge also.

 

I see to where i forgot some punctuation. I said i do not get out in time from my job to call them. The part is not listed on thier site. I emailed them about two weeks ago and nothing and again last week. I guess i will have to try calling around lunch.

Well, the Dick answer would be yes...

Took a chance that it was Speartech and searched Member list for that. Got lucky and found it on page 241 of 406 of "S" page listing. Hope that improves my image.

I ended up going with this yoke: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
and this u-joint napa part number: P447 . It has mechanics 3R and 1350 bearing caps.

If I did it over again I would use a different yoke. The referenced one is not splined all the way and a little on the short side. As a matter of fact I may replace it anyway.
