nice, railroad is a good gig, you get a separate retirement from them too right? Yeah my cousin owns his own surveying co. He makes good loot. I don't live in NYC, I live in some little **** town outside Rochester. Now that you mention it though, I paid 98k for my 1500 sq ft house. I used the VA loan and got a fixed mortgage for 30 yrs at 5.7% My monthly payment is around 500 bucks. I escrowed my taxes and guess what? It ******* doubled my payment. You are right those t-shirts should say "I hate NY" NC bound as soon as my house sells!!!!

Cops don't make crap in SC but as someone else said its because of the cost of living. You can get by making $400 a week here with nothing but a car payment and rent/mortgage on a small house. I'm off to NTI in about 6 months. I want to work in the automotive industry but decided that it wouldn't be at a dealership. If I can't work in a performance oriented field I'll find something else. There are a lot more LS1tech guys in the charlotte/concord/mooresville area than there are here too.

Me too but that was in the 60's. If you have a good line of B/S try sales. People buy stuff all the time. Since 2000 I returned to the auto business.
Depending on the manufactuter you'll need to pass a bunch of tests on everything about everything including how much air pressure comes in the tires. You're boss will always be on your *** about performance. You might get fired. You might get into a fight over an up on the lot, or a split deal.. You could work 7 days a week if you want 24 hrs. per day too.
It's fun though. Hell I've been certified to sell Hondas, Mazda, Nissan, Kia, Suzuki, and GM products. I have a nice GM ring with a couple of diamonds on it. Free cloths and hats from several auto makers. Not too many folks have that. Now I am ing thinking about how bad I have it.

hmm idk about you but right now im trying to get into an apprenticeship with an electrician company would be 4 years of classes and 1500 hours of actual paid experience year starting at 12 and by 4th year will be at 23+ an hour so basically im getting paid to master a trade and most of the places around here will hire someone that has 4 years exp. over someone who has 2 years in a class room

By day I sell drugs. At night, I'm a pimp.
BIG money in both professions. I'll be able to retire at age 45 with about 7.5 mil in cash, plus another 5 mil in assets.
But pimpin' bitches aint easy.

Thats not to bad for down there. Here in NJ Atlantic City Starting salary is just under $45,500. When I was going to join back in 02 it was just over $41,000
I didn't join the police like i had thought about for a short time. I'm a union carpenter. NY Carpenters are amongst the highest paid at over $41.70 a hr. Here in NJ we make $37.27 a hour. Any labor Union in NY/NJ will be a highly paid position.
