Typical Ford "427hp" and run 13's What makes you think the new mustang will be any faster?
The Roush ROUSHcharger Supercharger Kit found on the Stage 3 pushes the horsepower out to 415 horsepower and 385 lb-ft torque, and the addition of an off-road exhaust system working with new specially tuned programming bumps up horsepower another twelve to the magical 427 number. This is good enough to hit 60 mph in 4.7 seconds, and the quarter mile passes by in 13.3 seconds at 108 mph.

****, my car is starting to feel slow to me. I need more fuel and more boost
99_Z28, people like you are why other people get the feeling that Camaro owners are so far up their own *** they can see light coming in their mouth. You need to shut the hell up and learn about what the **** you're talking about before you go spewing bullshit again. As for the Roush 427r, its a heavy V8 car with a V6 blower which stock has already run a 12.2 @ what, 114? I forget the trap.

I dont care what you clowns say, 11's is pretty quick for a daily driven street car in my neck of the woods....10 second cars and faster are pretty much non existent around here (NE) unlike TX or FL etc.

Yes... but a C6 Z06 isn't NHRA/IHRA certified to go as fast as it goes. You'd have to do quite a bit of work on a Z06 to get it up to spec, and most owners don't want to do that. These FR500 CJs are purpose-built drag racers. Just like the Challenger Pro-stockers.
