I know that the Jeep I-6s are some of the most reliable engines in the world, but 10 years and 60k miles is nothing special. In fact, that's incredible LOW mileage. I had a friend with a 9 year old Jeep back in high school that had 220k miles on it and ran like a champ.
Her current one is a fully loaded 1999 white Laredo I-6 4x4. It has about 87K on it with very minor problems. All the previous Grand Cherokees before that had 150K + with no major problems before trade-in.
These newer Jeeps are a completely different breed with thier later drivetrain, powertrain and chasis technowledgy. Not sure if her next vehicle will be a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
