Oh I definitely understand. Pay a little now to save a lot in the long run based on legal fees and reduced profit from the issue being in the media spotlight even more than it already has. My comment was solely based on personal principle.

Yeah, I was just in a situation like that as well... without getting into detail, I faced up to 6 months in jail for something that never happened, and they offered me a 75-day plea bargain. I went to trial at the risk of getting 6 months, and ended up serving 15 days on a 30 day judgement.
