The Camaro makes use of plenty of aluminum everywhere. It's probably about as light as it can be for a car it's size without totally gutting it or pricing it through the roof.
The fact that it accelerates, handles, rides, and drives as well as it does is really a testament to Holden's engineering talent.

No, but it will be gone here shortly, and the Cruze (if it has an "SS" model) would be heavier, thus spoiling some of the fun (albeit not that much). I think a smaller car than the Cobalt, even with less power, can make a dent in the market. I see SS/TCs all over around here, all driven be young people. Now less weight in the new Aveo + LNF =

Oh well, learn something new everyday. I assume they just weren't selling enough of them?
