Of all the people that I've known who have bought notches, it was always because they were the lightest. I'm sure some people do buy them because they like the appearance, as it's totally subjective, but I think there are many others who buy them primarily for the weight advantage.

Not even going to bother to multi quote. The average times for the fox are marginally faster than the average times for the camaro while the fastest times for the fox with good DA and a good driver are quite a bit faster than the best runs for the camaro. And the dizzy is in the front bumping timing is that much easier

Again, your custom definition of "stock" holds no water in this debate. If you say that a car is completely and totally stock (no matter which car you're talking about), that includes the factory timing advance setting.
Honestly, this has gone on long enough. You've contradicted yourself, you've been told by more than one person (including the one you requested, Bob Cosby) that the "fastest 5.0s were only marginally faster [than the L98 F-body]", and you continue going in circles about a point that is wrong. For the last time, "quite a bit faster" (your words, and incorrect ones at that) does NOT equal "marginally".
