When Camaro (4th gen) sales were lower than Mustangs, I much preferred the Camaros of the time. Now that Mustang sales are lower than Camaro (5th gen), I prefer the Mustangs. It seems that my automotive tastes are opposite from the majority....this comes as no surprise to me at all.

Lol I'm right there with you RPM, though I was much more biased towards the F-bodies over the little 260hp gt's, whereas now I would love to own a 5.0 but would still be excited to own a new LS3 Camaro.

It's good to see the camaro is the top seller in it's segment, as we all want them continuing to sell these great cars for years to come.

That's kind of funny, I sort of feel the same way. I tend to be a gm guy but I'll buy what I feel is the better car. Camaro is just too big. I'm suprised the camaro continues to do well with the magazines continuing to beat on them.

I like the LS platform better for modding which is what I'd be doing so I'm still GM for the time being.

It shows you how small our performance modifying enthusiast market truly is.

The reality is that 90% of Mustang and Camaro owners won't modify any performance related component outside of a cold air intake and maybe an exhaust.

People like the look and a 400+ HP sounds great on paper and is more than enough for the non enthusiasts.

The V6 is where they do the numbers now unlike the 4th gen where 70% were V8,lots of women buying them now.

My GF wants one,I told her the Mustang is smaller and handles a bit better but she wants the tank.
