I wonder how big of an improvement a KB or Whipple will provide over the stock blower?

Tea spoon or table spoon?

Both will be stupid with some 4.0's on top but the ZL1 will go boom before the GT500. I would like to see what kind of power the ZL1 makes with the same blower and boost should be about the same peak numbers just not sure of the power band.

I dunno, the TVS2300 is a very respectable blower. From my understanding, just a different snout makes a world of difference.

No argument their but that's for the basic bolt on guys just think about a "BIG" blower on it and the power it will make....

That's good. Keeps it a little simpler and cheaper I guess. Snout and pulley swap would be fine by me if I owned one. Someday...

Been looking on Autotrader at them for the past few days, a lot of dealers really don't even have these cars marked up, which is a good thing. Seems like they are priced very competitively with the ZL1's.

I agree. A friend of mine just made 720rwhp on his 2010 GT500 with a 2.8 KB blower/bigger throttle body swap and tuning. Internally stock motor, just headers, catback and the new blower. Then they tried the race gas tune...760+rwhp.
Imagine even just that set up on the new 5.8L car, nevermind what the 3.4 blower might do.

LOL

Nah, I love both (Mustang and Camaro) car lines and am also looking forward to someone swapping blowers on the ZL1 as well and seeing what it might do. The bottom end isn't quite as stout as the GT500's of course but it can still take a lot of boost if the fuel and tuning are correct.

i suspect that's gonna be the main mods for both of these cars......bigger blowers that is.
