This... I like the new look. I just think it took GM to long. & I'm not happy that they aren't releasing it with halo headlights. Easy fix I'm sure with aftermarket lights that I'm sure will come out. But pretty much everyone who has a 5th gen has halo lights over non. & like some have mentioned WHY! not change the dashboard for the Z28. It is hideous & never understood why GM continues to keep it.
& for the 2014 being the 6th you heard wrong haha.. The 6th gen is going to be on the Cadillac Alpha platform which will be bad ***! Because the Cadillac ATS weighs like 3400 lbs. So Id expect the Camaro to be in the 35xx-36xx lb range. Match it with the hp its making now. End of story

As for the generation, its still a 5th gen. Just a small change like they did with 98 year fbodies. When will the 6th gen come out though?

Yeah, GM takes a long *** time to make something good. Its pretty much old news by the time it comes out lol. Im sure there will be halo lights out if enough sell. What im bummed out about is the radio. Ive been lagging it to instal my headunit in the trans am and ive been musicless for over a month, and it gets pretty boring. I think itll be more difficult to install and aftermarket stereo in a car that didnt have one to begin with.

this is a big time upgrade thats giving customers another option to beat on ford with.

Who is over there in charge of GM? Who is driving the ship and making approvals on these tail lights? First it was the C7 now this? The Z/28 makes a return finally with the right wheels and engine and drive train. Then some clown decides to put 1995 Chevy Caprice Tail lights on the New z/28????
I really think GM is outsourcing the designs to Mumbai, India or something.
GM do me a favor put the engine in the trunk and the gas tank under the hood. So I don't have to look at those ugly *** tail lights every time I fill up at the pumps!

That's the only 5th gen i'd buy. The new taillights look awesome and I'm one of the few that loves the dash and interior. Having a LS7 is an awesome reason alone to buy one.

I like how everyone was crying to GM to drop a ls7 in the camaro and reduce weight, and GM finally did it, yet people still arent happy. I think this car is a good step in the right direction and i would definately pick this z28 if i was in the market for a 5th gen.
As for the price, it wouldnt make sense to make it more expensive than the zl1, since the zl1 is supercharged putting out more power, has some of the best suspension, and the name itself should be top dog.

Wah wah I want an LS7 for the price of an LS3. Wah wah I want carbon ceramic brakes for the price of iron ones. Wah wah I want them to figure out how to drop hundreds of pounds... Oh wait, this is going to cost more? I hate it GM doesn't listen to anything the people want!

It will be more expensive than the zl1 which totally make sense. Everything about this car is unique and badass. Cant believe some plp are hoping for a 50k price tag. Superformance, limited production, carbon zr1 brakes, ultralight wheels, hand build LS7, custom windows, body kit, exhaust, ETC ETC. I expect a 70k price tag. Collector's car.

I have not liked the 5th gens all that much but this is one I may have to buy. I enjoy that its a hardcore version with a fantastic drivetrain and less weight. I can't wait to see one in person.
