Idonno if it's all they can fit, but it's the largest they have fit. My understanding is, this is the same engine as the 5.4L, just punched... bored and stroked, whatever.

It looks pretty good to me but I'd still wouldn't buy it.

If it's anything like the Focus ST, it surely is fun to drive. Of course, you're right in that they will certainly say it regardless.

I almost expect the 2.3L to only be available with a 6spd manual. Whatever though. I expect it will be fun to drive.

What I meant was if they gave you the 6.2 option it would be between 5.0 and gt500 horsepower.

I heard they gave up, put a truck axle back in, and put slicks and skinnies on it, because making a car more than a 1 trick pony is gay.

The 6.2 is an outdated SOHC iron block truck motor that makes less horsepower than the 5.0, why would they spend any time on it when they already have a ton of other options? 5.8, 5.0, 3.5TT, 3.7, 2.3T...I think that's enough already haha.

Well, Roush (and Bowles) did use the 6.2L engine stroked to 7L and that made over 800rwhp N/A(surely using meth). The problem was, that was not a DOHC and that's where the problem comes in... costs plenty to upgrade all that upper end stuff and the engine is already very large. Otherwise, the 6.2 would surely be an excellent start for big power.
