As much I don't like the new Tundra inspired F150, as It'll run said, it will sell well, they always do.

On a side note, those Ford guys that want a 6.2 might be able to get a smoking deal on a 2014 when these new lightweights arrive.

No doubt. When I bought in August, I passed on a 2013 F-150 4X4 CC XLT with the 3.5L TT for under $33,000(MSRP about 45k). A friend of mine got a 2013 Platinum which listed for near 60k and drove out for under 45k. I'm sure deals that good will be available for the outgoing models at the end of this yr.

If I was in the market for a new pickup when the new F-150 is released, I'd find it hard to pass up on those great 2014 deals, but then again... the '15 is definitely an upgrade in pertinent areas!

I like it a lot minus the console shifter. I don't like that in a pickup. Its really a toss up for me between a sierra and this.

I can't believe manufacturers still put "4x4" stickers on truck beds in 2014.

The way vehicles less than 3/4 ton are built today, the general public would never know otherwise... truth in advertising? They wouldn't want the public to forget their bread and butter, capability. That goes for all manufacturers, not just Ford.

Besides, would you rather see it in lights?

As a Ford guy and as someone who hasn't owned a truck in 13 years I'm really sold on this F-150. The main reason? Weight savings. I can't wait to see how the weight improves the ratings of the current 5.0 V8 and 3.5 EB. Also curious to how the 2.7 V6 EB does. Something tells me to weight if GM and F are co working on a 10 speed auto.

Also I'm not entirely sold on the turbo engines. I think I'd miss that V8 whine and would sacrifice the weaker tow rating and mpg just for the exhaust note.
