So the rumor is this car will have a 425-450 hp Naturally aspirated V8, and a significantly lightened chassis and body panel...no word on price either, but the spies at Nurbering are saying it's lapping the circuit in less than 8 minutes.

Now that looks sweet! I looked at a 2004 RS6 and I liked, but the price was just crazy

Hopefully, this will be priced in the neighborhood of C6, M3. Then I'd consider.

Last summer I had the RS6 when it was still 1 of 1 pre-production car. Everything was still in german. Got another one in english later. Here is some pics from May 03 of the first one.

Sorry for the fuzziness. Was still using an analog camera back then. And it's hard to take your eyes off the road when you're going 150 to take a pic. Turned that car in and got a new MR. Haven't tested it yet. Got a nice S4, A8s, TTs, and some other junk. Oh yeah, got to drive a C6 recently. Nice car. I just realized I got a whole roll of undeveloped film from last summer of me flogging the RS6. I don't think I can post those.

I work for Audi Corporate in Michigan and the best I have had is the A8 and A4. I hope to get the S4 or Touareg soon.

Those cars own the autobahn. Top speed is like 180.

I saw an RS4 get completely off the ground at the strip. That thing was pushing about 500 hp at the wheels, and with awd it was INSANE!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, it feels crazy. RS6 was 450ish hp/tq. I find it hard to believe they actually think of making the RS4 faster.

I'm guessing it was an S4 that you saw and not an RS4 since the B5 RS4 was only sold as an Avant in Europe. Oh how I wish that car came stateside. 380hp bi-turbo V6 = ownage. The S4s themselves are no slouches either though, especially the B6 cars with the 4.2L V8.
