looks a lot better than the gto to me, but AWD? a car like that should be just RWD, just my .02

If it has a stout bottomend and drivetrain.. I'd be interested for 30k or less, but not nearly 40k out the door. I'd need some heavy rebates to consider it at that price though.. I don't owe that much more on the camaro, and this thing looks stout.. I'd definately make it my next vehicle.. but for 38k, I'd rather pony up a little more and buy a vette, or buy a year old one for that price.

Peace,
Josh

Gotta register. If it's inline with like a WRX (drivetrain wise) I'd seriously be interested in that down the road as a daily driver. Especially if it has a turbo v6 and a 6 spd for fuel mileage

Looks more aggressive than the GTO. Looks good.

Hopefully they'll build more than 547 of them, unlike the last GNX.

**Layout: Front-Engine/AWD <---that says AWD in the Specs

**Add this to the obvious performance of the vehicle and you have a rear-wheel-drive TT+I V-6-powered premium sports coupe wrapped in a seamless, modern design. <---thats from the body.

Is this for real they are bringing back the GNX, if they are this must be what everyone has been waiting for a fast as f*ck Twin Turbo 6. its going to have better gas mileage than my WS.6 most likely yet have tons of power. i would pick this over a GTO any day.

With a TT AWD V6, it'd have horrible gas mileage, don't kid yourself. I get like 20 mpg in my WRX.

cough *fake* cough

That car is a photochopped GTO whose Chassis is being retired after the 2006 model year. If it comes back in 2007 (along with a Buick version) it will not look exactly like a monaro (like this car does).

Still the photochop looks good.

i think it looks amazing would love to actually see it built but knowing GM they are just spraying fumes and will probably never consider it.

Yep, you're right about that. Great idea, if it's ture (I couldn't read the article yesterday, guess too much traffic over there). Realistically they need to make it a step up from the SRT-4 and WRX (AWD with the V-6 does that), get a body style for it that can compete in that segment (be it 2 or 4 door or both) and make it a cheaper alternative to an STi that still kicks it's [STi] rear up and down the strip and auto-x. Honestly, ditch the twins for a bigger single, which would help with fuel mileage, DO NOT release the car without an optional 6sp (hell make that standard) and put the MPG target @ 32. Realistic? Probably not with the current state of GM, but DAMN, they'd have a winner. 2+2 seating is great for a family of 4, but it would HAVE to have more trunk space than the current goat/manaro platform. Power via modern tech, decent fuel mileage (needing to be 28+ on the highway), great handling, just refined enough interior, with enough space to packup and head for a LONG weekend +2 kids, priced ACCORDINGLY and it WOULD smoke the euro/jap competition. One problem, it's GM.

Well...who ever created it, tell them they need to be working for GM! The idea is great. I'm semi crazy about the GTO body, but it could be made to work. Hell...I'd settle for a straight 6, single turbo and 6 spd!!!

If they did build it (or something like it), they'd better not make it a manual only car (like ZO6). I'd expect to see 6-speed manual and 6-speed auto options. Much rather have AWD as a option as well, with RWD being standard. This way the car would appeal to more people and probably sell better, plus the RWD base car would have a more appealing price tag.

Would definately be the only car in it's class with a 6 spd man. or auto. That's not a bad idea about a RWD base with an AWD option. Think sport sedan or coupe, family oriented, ability to pack the kids up and go. That's what the original GNX provided, but it was still kick *** with power.

If this is a gminsider fourm, are the slug heads @ the top of GM reading?
