BMW Crossover (V-Series) Update
http://www.wheels24.co.za/Wheels24/N...731234,00.html
There's been a lot of talk lately about some sort of high performance BMW crossover that would somehow through the use of magic and hobbits combine the sportiness (if you can call an ugly 3600 lbs. pig sporty) of the E63 6 Series with the utility of the E53 X5. I've seen everything from renderings of a 6 Series with 4 doors and a slight body lift, to a hacked X5 with E60 5 Series fascias to this thing. Who knows WTF is going on over at BMW. In any case if you ask me, I'd say that they should call it something other than the V Series. There's only one V Series, and they all pack 8 cylinders, 6 gears, and tear **** up on any road they can get their tires on.

Saw that photoChop in Autocar 6 months ago, I hope this means the rumor mill isn't kicking it back up again. Personally I think the R-Class type vehicles are going to do better in Europe than here in the states where people would rather have an SUV when they go looking for three rows.
