Mark V Golf R32 Info Released By VW

I still think the Mark V looks a bit too tallish although the R32s ground effects seem to help a bit. I'm not a fan of the silver lining surrounding the grille but I suppose it's better than the red trim found on the GTI. The good news however is that while the Mark V R32 appears to be a Euro only model, we are likely to get the rumored Golf R36 and possibly a Jetta R36 (since Americans prefer sedans to hatchbacks) in the states which will pack the 3.6L 280hp VR6 recently announced for the next top of the line Passat (this motor will replace the overcomplicated W8). In any case the Mark V R32 like its predecessor is a hot little hatch which is a slightly more comfortable alternative to the Clio 182, Focus ST, Astra OPC/VXR or other similar vehicle.
