Toyota knows Chevy Trucks are better

The picture defines the term "ironic" pretty well.
I have nothing against Tundra's. I like my Grandma's 06 Tundra CrewMax more than my Uncles 06 Chevy Silverado. Its a little more car-like on the inside, and a more comfortable all-around ride, towing capacity aside.
About 2 weeks, she got swiped by a semi hauling 15+ tons of gravel, and walked away with little more than a bruised rib (truck was totalled, expectedly). Im not saying that Chevy/GMC trucks cant do that, but you need to give respect to any truck that can keep the driver safe after being swiped by a semi. She's gonna buy another one, not that I blame here.

Funny stuff.
Funny stuff.
That car hauler weighs in excees of 15k lbs most likely. The trailor alone weighs 7k lbs, not including 7-8k lbs of cars.
The people that are complaining or bitching, I find it ironic, that it has a Japanese motor, powering that GM. Isuzu for the Duramax.

Our ring gear is huge,
Our engine is super strong,
Our brakes are super gigantic,
Our transmission is super duper big,
Our back seat is ginormous,
Oh, wait, that trailer is to big.
Not to mention that all their commercial comparisons were their top line offerings to the base or mid level competition.

I'm sooo glad to see our #1 resident "import defender" (25psi) back on here, and "on top of his game".
Great to have ya back Chrissy, it was almost boring without ya!
Next we have to work on getting "****" (pssonu) back, then the rice defense duo will be complete. (Or were they the same alter egos as well?? )

Toyota Tundra Overtakes GMC Sierra 1500 in YTD Sales?
8/2/07 | Autoblog
... According to Mike Levine at pickuptruck.com, it appears the GMC Sierra 1500 lost its #4 ranking in half-ton sales to the Tundra based on projections culled from production numbers. ...
... General Motors reports that the Sierra has sold 115,185 units year-to-date. The figure, however, includes 2006 and 2007 models of the Sierra 1500, Sierra 2500 (three-quarter ton), Sierra 3500 (one-ton) and even the 2007 Sierra "Classic" based on the older GMT800 platform. GM doesn't break down the sales numbers for the Sierra by model, so Levine got creative and used production numbers for each model from both 2005 and 2006 to extrapolate what percentage of this year's sales the Sierra 1500 model was likely to be. ...
... Based on an "apples-to-apples" comparison in sales between half-ton models, it would then seem the 2007 Toyota Tundra easily outsold GMC Sierra 1500 to become the #4 best-selling half-ton pickup in the U.S. Based on projections through the end of the year, the Tundra will likely outsell all GMC Sierra models, as well, making it the #4 best-selling truck of any kind in the U.S. behind the Ford F-150, Chevy Silverado and Dodge Ram.

I find it ironic, that this site mentioned above, has more sense than the most of you. Atleast they're more level headed and not as biased.

Car and Driver also had the Chevy ahead in a comparison.
North American Truck Of The Year.
Not to mention everyone knows consumer reports sucks. Anyone who puts any kind of value in magazine articles for other than reading enjoyment is ridiculous. These are the people who said the Honda Ridgeline was TOTY and the best truck on the market.
<----Toyota owners when their camshafts break.

No car and driver didnt. And for Motortrend, the Tundra was not released, until after the comparisons.
I love it when ignorant folks bring up the camshaft issue, considering it was less than 20 reported of the 200k sold(.0001 %)( C6 Z06 had more issues with the roof flying off). Tell me why there isnt a recall, if it were so previlant? I guess it hasnt reflected on its sales has it? Dont be mad, itll be ok.
BTW, I thought you might enjoy this:
Tundra sales up 61.4% in September
http://www.earthtimes.org/articles/s...e,190356.shtml
F150 sales down 20.8% to 56,065 from 70,822 for September:
http://www.ford.com/about-ford/news-...press-releases
Silverado sales up 5% to 52,040 from 51,964
Sierra sales up 9% to 18,445 from 17,604
http://media.gm.com/servlet/GatewayS...74&docid=40014
Ram sales up 25% to 30,100 from 25,081, impressive considering it is one of the older models in the segment:
http://www.earthtimes.org/articles/s...e,190480.shtml
Titan sales down 11.1 percent to 5,193 from 6,073

It is nice to know, that Chevy is on the plus side?
