Toyota knows Chevy Trucks are better

Just like it was a joint venture for Japan and the US:
""
an example of what Japanese auto makers say is their growing effort to reduce trade frictions with the United States. ""
So whats the difference?
Same thing that Yamaha did with the Taurus and other Domestic vehicles.

All I said was Toyota doesn't always use their own parts to disprove a statement made earlier in this thread.

Nice try on the Cartest reports. It was posted on January 7, when the Tundra was not released!
Again, read the Caranddriver report. Its more of a truck than the Silverado. It won due to the interior and more car like feel. No win imo!
Due a search on the Tundra on here. MAtter of fact, scroll up to the top to trucks and search on Tundra. There are plenty of vids, of the Tundra running high 13's to low 14's.
Once again, Motortrend own words:
A superior powertrain, more room, and clever packaging
Yet the Tundra's 5.7 is such a stormer, even the bigger engine wouldn't have been enough for the Chevy to overcome the Toyota's performance advantage.
Once again, an anemic, cute truck wins the interior department. Wow
Show me a link to a QC 4X4 running a high 13. Can you?
If it were all about 1/4 mile times and HP ratings then the Veyron or Shelby would be the best all around car out there or cars would come with drag suspension from the factory. Fact is with all the misleading ads the Toyota is just trying to convince people that their truck is better simply on its engine. It takes more than that to make a good truck, which is why regardless of HP Ford still makes a great truck.
Also read what they have to say about the Tundra interior. That is always where the imports hung their hat and rag on domestics. Now it is just a piece of **** and the GM is far superior.
It funny how you TRY to protect your own stance even after it is proven wrong. It was shown where the Chevy came out ahead in comparisons, which you claimed it never did.
Oh wait, dont tell me, those dont count.
But just a few posts ago you were trying to use those same magazines and awards to back your side.

My head ******* hurts, Faggot5psi, sitll hasen't addressed the 6.2 litre Denali 1/2 ton with a 6 speed auto.

Faggot5psi, thanks for giving me something to do *******.

The car test link was to show you that it won North American truck of the year that you tried to claim for the Tundra.

As posted in 132:
Well lets put this into perspective, Edmunds tested a 4x4 DC with a curb weight of 5637lb. And note in the link below, the statement under
-Acceleration Comments-
"All the best runs were made with traction control off*, but with prudent throttle modulation to keep the rear tires from evaporating. Wow, this thing is quick!"
obviously implies the runs were made in 2wd mode
Comparison Test: 2007 Half-Ton Pickup Trucks
And when testing the all new Hot Rodded 2007 GMC Sierra Denali with a 403hp/417lb-ft trq 6.2L with a 6sp auto, this is what they had to say:
"this 5,309-pound two-wheel-drive truck hauls to 60 mph in just 6.5 seconds and rips through the quarter-mile in 15.0 seconds at 92.1 mph".
"But the GMC Sierra Denali is not the quickest truck on the market. That title is held by the new Toyota Tundra with its 381-hp, 5.7-liter V8. In our testing, the four-wheel-drive Tundra Double Cab pounds to 60 mph in just 6.3 seconds and runs the quarter-mile in 14.8 seconds at 93.7 mph, even though it weighs 328 pounds more than the Sierra Denali.
Sometimes power isn't enough to guarantee dominance. Or maybe either GMC or Toyota or both are wrong about the power numbers they're publishing."

And for the record, the fastest Tundra has run a best of 13.8 for the regular Cab.
Take notes on the weights of the vehicles. The Tundra is almost 400lbs heavier than the Denali, but still traps higher . Do the math.
1) Denali is overated
2) Tundra is underated
Pick one!

I know your math is terrible as proven earlier in this thread, but that is pretty simple.
#170
I know your comprehension level is 0, but read the article I posted. It is not the fastest truck nor does it tow more than the Tundra. Despite being 400lbs heavier, it is still faster.

JD AMG "But ...... da.....OMG my truck has a 4 speed column shift.......but next year it wont......but da.... wow.....hp/ltr.......pushrod boom but what happen......da.....but it has pushrod and 4 speed

Truth of the matter is Toyota dosent really give a **** that a Chevrolet is towing a show car trailer they have as much to do with it as anyone on the website does.. If they offered a HD line then im sure it would be pulled by a Toyota....however the rigs like that one pictured are contracted through various promotion companys.. Toyota Ford who the hell ever to drag their **** around the country, they dont own the truck or trailer.I did it for 2 years towing a chevrolet race car with......GASP....... a Ford dually...

I didnt know you knew how to agree. Maybe you should offer to tow it for them after you drop off your boxes. You do tow 14000 lbs EVERY SINGLE DAY. Mayne they should break it down into 2 smaller trailers to help Toyota out. If they are going to talk all the smack they do in their ads they should back it up in real life.

Meant to say 4 mph faster.
