As long as GM employs more Americans than all of the Imports OEMs combined, it matters to me.

Seems to me that the democrats right now cant find anything constructive to do right now so they busy themselves with fighting each other...lol, And the Republicans never get any "air time" on TV becuase the whole "Hillary-Obama" thing is sooooooo Interesting.. I just wish one of these days I could turn on the news and hear somthing...anything other than Brittney Spears did this or....Hillary is feeling sad after her afternoon nap or Obama is mad at hillary becuase of.....pffff please. Lets hear about GM's new release's or somthing that might acually benefit society.

Eh, don't really mind what they drive. It is kinda cool to see some actually have made an automotive choice beyond the basic 4 door european luxury sedan or nondescript SUV.

No good....I repeat....no good can come of an all-out socialist (Hillary, Obama, either way) being elected president. I can't begin to imagine the untold wholesale destruction to our economy, our freedoms, and our way of life. [/rant]

Actually, I tend to think the no responses mean that they are driving big SUVs that the green lefties would beat them up about if they knew they were driving them.

Best stable, Mitt Romney, most economical (in terms of longevity and least use of resources, steel, rubber, ect) Duncan Hunter.

Surprisingly, worst is Fred Thompson with his Volvo SUV? Come on Fred.

The problem is, with the McCain/Feingold campaign finance reform laws now in effect, the only people even capable of running for office are those who are independently insanely wealthy (and willing to blow it on running for office) and incumbents. Expect nothing but more of the same...getting sicker and sicker each election cycle.

I will let the words of a brilliant mind elaborate on the types of ppl who we will see running for office.
(1) Men who were fatties in high school and consequently are willing to submit to the hell of running for office to compensate for their unhappy adolescences -- like Bill Clinton, Rudy Giuliani, Mike Huckabee and Newt Gingrich. (Somewhere in this great land of ours, even as we speak, the next Bill Clinton is waddling back to the cafeteria service line asking for seconds.)

(2) Billionaires and near-billionaires -- like Jon Corzine, Steve Forbes, Michael Bloomberg and Mitt Romney -- who can fund their own campaigns (these aren't necessarily sociopaths, but it certainly limits the pool of candidates).

(3) Celebrities and name-brand candidates -- like Arnold Schwarzenegger, George Bush, Giuliani and Hillary Clinton (which explains the nation's apparent adoration for Bushes and Clintons -- they've got name recognition, a valuable commodity amidst totalitarian restrictions on free speech).

(4) Mainstream media-anointed candidates, like John McCain and B. Hussein Obama.

What a bizarre coincidence that a few years after the most draconian campaign-finance laws were imposed via McCain-Feingold, our two front-runners happen to be the media's picks! It's uncanny -- almost as if by design! (Can I stop now, or do you people get sarcasm?)
The source and the brilliant mind

I used to think that the Obama campaign was brilliant in that it was like a rock concert & religious revival all rolled into one...except he said nothing except he was for change. But he does indeed say a lot. The man is a full-fledged socialist on domestic policy, and a weak-kneed pacifist on foreign policy. I don't care what kind of car he drives much the same way I never cared how any socialist/communist traveled.

He says a lot, but without really committing to much. But isnt that what politicians are supposed to do? Still not where my vote is going, regardless of what he drives. And I am tired of seeing the media (aside from Fox news) trying to elect this guy for us.

Ann Coulter is your brilliant mind? If you have a problem with the campaign finance reform you can blame everyone in Congress that forced the changes on it to suit their needs before it was allowed to pass. At least McCain and Feingold tried to make it more fair. All the greedy bastards kept filibustering it.

I'll be voting Republican like I would hope anyone that wants smaller government, lower taxes, a better economy, less government spending and a solid foreign policy should.

Oh yeah, on the car topic, I wonder what kind of Rambler Romney is driving. That could be lame or cool...

^ You don't have millions of dollars and own a pos version of the Rambler... of all cars. I'm sure it's freaking sweet.

It's kind of strange that most of the Dems left a blank on what kind of car they drive? Suspicious to say the least.
