Anybody want to organize a team of guys to spread out and innundate every nissan forum on the net with every tidbit of info on the ZR1 when it hits the streets? I'm down for that!
I think someone with the skillz to do it needs to create a new smiley that is a mallet with the letters "GTR" on it pounding the little yellow smiley guy in the head. I think that reflects most of our opinions on this subject.

ummm notice the 5mph higher trap speed by the z06? yeah that means it will own it pretty damn good from a roll.....especially if it were to go all out topend.

I'm sick of this "under rathed" crap. The car makes 430ish whp on a dynojet(less than a Z06 btw) and weighs a lot more.
The Z06 will consistently trap 5-7mph more than a stock car, and be much faster "from a roll", which is all that matters on the street.

Kinda looks ok, but really looks like a 350Z with a factory craptacular body kit.

I don't see the problem with Nissan underrating the car...GM has done it forever...no big deal. The fact remains that the Z06 is still faster where it counts - in a straight line. Someday when highways are shaped like autocross courses, it'll be a different story. But for the time being, when 9/10 races occur at 70mph+ on a highway or at a stoplight sitting before a flat straight stretch of road, the Z06 reigns queen until her big supercharged sister takes that title and probably most others along with it.
Besides, the Z06 has proven that it can hang with and (in some cases) even best the GTR on some of the world's toughest circuits. So in reality, the GTR is just another pretty quick import. Remember...it doesn't matter how close you came...you either win, or you don't.
