look at the numbers, even with the shitty launch the Z06 manages to stick all that power throught 2 wheels and hold onto the GTR which has the advantage of 4 wheels

Just wanted to point out that you are incorrect...despite the fact that the Z06 has a disadvantage in that only two tires are powered, even from a stop, it is still faster than the GTR. It is 0.2 faster to 100mph and certainly only widens the gap from that point on.
So to put it in a clearer perspective...not even a twin tubo AWD technology show can outrun the "archaic" Z06.
I can sympathize with import fans on this one. Their hero has fallen short of our hero...and our hero is even a lame duck at this point. Nissan couldn't catch last year's fastest vette. Wait until this year's fastest vette hits the streets. It's over people. Learn that and move on.

"Technology" in this case falls on it's relative face just before 100mph whereas "Cubic inches" keeps on crankin hard as it shows it's tail to "technology".
So to fix your comparison...
Cubic inches > pretty much anything else

Thats a decent RICEMOBILE, I still wouldn't buy one. Its in a totally different category of car, than any F-Body or Vett. So whats your point of posting this garbage here? I have to say this, Im a car guy not a badge *****, i like cars period, but this is not the site to post this car!

hmmm, and we will have to get some real comparos of the GTR vs the Z on an actual track as well. Being confident the Z06 will walk it through the quarter i think this should be the GTR's chance to make it up. Magazine numbers are crap anyway. i got my money on the Z06....and the GTR is far from a "masterpiece". Howerver, for how hideous it is, its still quick

From a stop the AWD is going to take the Vette and it might not be able to reel it in.
Just to point out the GT-R is faster from a dig.

The Z06 is the faster car...whether you look at from a dig, from a roll, AWD or RWD...it's faster. It beat AWD with RWD, so there should be no doubt in anyone's mind that it is the faster car...period.

There are advantages to both drivetrains and engines....
Also, despite what people might try to tell you, the LS7 is an advanced engine. It isn't "ultimate gadget status" like the GTR because it is actually meant to go on the track....not just some automatic-having toy for rich kids
