ram air/cowl hoods and wings need some information ~hoods~
well i am in the market for hood and wing for my v. well this doesnt seem to be something cover on here. i am dead set on a cowl induction hood but would like all the information yall have on ram air or cowl hoods and so on!
-what hoods are out there(websites,phone #)
-quality of hood(personal experiance)
-ram air or cowl?(opinions??)
-pics!! if u have one an info on who u went with and y and recommendations!!

my car didnt come from factory with a wing. i am tossing around the idea of getting a wing. found 2 different style wings flush mount and non-flush the kinda sticks up. are these both factory which one is or isnt. did one come on a v and other come on stock cts? i love the flush mount but only want factory wing on it cause drilling holes is permanent.
-whats wings are gm
-what wings came on v's
-wing or wingless(opinions)
-did 04's come with wings

I believe you have to drill holes with the factory cts wing. I have a spectre works on my 04 and it fits good. You have to drill 1 hole on each side of the trunk lid and it has double sided tape on it to stick down in the middle.

EC hood and specter work hood are very nice. Quality are great and so is the fit. Check out the V gallery https://ls1tech.com/forums/cadillac-...thread-10.html I have pics I just posted of my car. I also installed the hood and wing my self its very easy to do.

got my windows tinted. plans are to lightly tint all my lights, remove yellow lights for clear corners, put flush wing and and cowl hood and be done. sry if i am copyin everyone else.

I have the factory wing...at least the gm wing that came on the sport model...it's nice because it comes prepainted in a few colors...black/silver/white...I'm happy with it....oh and no wings came factory on the V.

damn nevermind.... no wing, my stock hood can get taken off and put back on but wing is long term and i wana keep it stock cause ill be damn if my trans am willnt sell cause i went nuts an moded it now it is worth damn scrap metal it seems like. i paid 12500 for it stock .................................................. ........................ shoot me plez

lol ur car is one of the few i saw in those pics today that i thought was over the top compared to others like mine! i love that hood wing combo. thaxs! i bout take the leap and make my car pic worthy like urs.

lol guess ill get wing to then. threw the idea past a few friends today and they all said it would be sick.
i explained the wing like this lol " the wing i am lookin at puting on my car is flush mount like a cobra wing " lol comparing it to a ford..
hood coming soon should have it on the way next month... alot of christmas expenses this month

oh alright. lol any got a cowl hood laying around. if i can find one used ill but it asap but i always take my time when i buy from a business i can buy from them anytime...
i buy anyones used cowl hood pay a lil more for 2004 v silver
